Trying to think about how to explain the movement in the 'plane' pieces - see sequence. Managed to get to 4D model shop in
Aldgate to buy more aluminium tube to create ‘line’ pieces - working with the
multi-faceted, multi-format structure is challenging – it is very flexible –
possibly this work made of lines is too flexible, lacking a recognisable form at
any point in its flow of movements, although they are intriguing pieces.
I also like the idea of thinking about
these pieces as monumental.....no reason....hence the ‘miniature’ people.
